Take a long hard look at these photos. What you're looking at is two south Texas law men who refuse to allow criminals, both foreign and domestic, to run rampant in our community. They, along with their K-9's, hunt the evil that society pretends doesn't exist. These men take the fight to the enemy's doorstep without hesitation. They are part of the elite brotherhood known as law enforcement. They don't do it for recognition or money. They do it because their moral fiber won't let them sit back and let the bad guys win.
They are true warriors in every sense of the word. They hunt the enemy on the highways and through the brush, oftentimes just feet away from the dangerous criminals they're pursuing, close combat in its truest form. They're out in the heat, the cold, the rain, going hours without rest muscles screaming, but they refuse to give up the chase until they bring those criminals to justice.
I for one am grateful for these men, and all those who put on the badge every day. Men don't let the media or protesters get you down. Truth be told your bravery and selfless service is something they covet but will never know, and at the bottom of their cowardly fickle hearts they wish they could be just like you! May God bless you and the work that you do for our communities. I look forward to recognizing these two brave warriors at Red White and Bulls September 12th, at the Victoria Community Center. On behalf of my family and Red White and Bulls, thank you.
